Common Questions Answered
How many songs are included in the session?
Each session includes a set time in the studio. The work you get done in that time is up to you. We suggest a 2 Min to 1 Hr approach. 1 hour of studio time equals 2 min of recorded material. Some days we get more done, but giving yourself time to warm up, setting levels and getting a few good takes to choose from can take time.
What should I expect from the demo master?
The demo master will be a polished version of your track, ready for sharing with industry professionals.
Are revisions included in the package?
Yes, one minor round of website edits is included to ensure your satisfaction.
What should I bring to the session?
Please bring your instruments, any necessary sheet music, and a positive attitude ready to create!
For the EPK side of the session, bring any media you might want to use. You will also need to purchase a domain beforehand. YourName.com or something like that can be purchased at GoDaddy.com or any other domain provider. We’ll also be shooting some video and pics while you’re here. So you might want to consider bringing a change of clothes or two just to keep the images fresh.1
When will my site be live?
Your site will be live the same day in most cases, allowing you to start booking gigs immediately. Just remember to buy your domain a few days before your session. And make sure you have current login info.
What kind of website is it?
We’ll be building you a WordPress website using the Divi AI web builder. Using this web stack will get you a scalable website with full SEO and admin control. We’ve been building websites for a long time. Almost as long as there’s been an internet to build them on. Being able to offer a solid website, buildable in a few hours at this cost has been a long time goal. Are we a recording studio that builds websites? Or are we a web design firm that has a recording studio? Does it matter?
Do you handle all of the hosting, email and DNS details?
Yes we do, is the short answer. The long answer is we’ve been doing that for about twety years. We couldn’t offer this package if this wasn’t easy for us to provide. We own another company that does this all day long.
